Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Ensure smooth operations of all daily facilities and infrastructure related functions, including soft services and event setup.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing building maintenance and repair of all on-site facilities.
- To lead a facility and infrastructure team in performing building repairs and maintenance including but not limited to electrical works, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Manage and coordinate all hard and soft service functions as required by the site.
- Planning, coordinating, and execution of maintenance and cleaning schedules as per requirement of the site.
- Reviewing of plans and specifications as well as provide recommendations in relation to the operations and maintenance facilities.
- Develop and manage facilities and infrastructure budget for the site including but not limited to budget compilation and management, financial reporting, financial forecasting, and implementing of cost saving initiatives.
- Investigate damages to facilities and determine responsibility and assess damage costs.
- Provide estimates for labor and material costs of repairs, maintenance or renovations requiring external vendors or suppliers whenever necessary.
- Manage outsourced vendors and suppliers to ensure a quality of service and take necessary actions as and when there are variations in delivery, quality, price or conditions of sale.
- Inspect remodeling and repair work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Supervise, enforce, conduct and train occupants in emergency situations and ensure compliance with building and fire regulations.
- Ensure all facilities staff and site infrastructure are in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Ensure regular management reporting as well as maintain effective management of all related administrative processes.
- Plan and lead productivity improvement plans.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by senior facilities manager or the general manager.
- To assist in development and implementation of safety program, coordinate and conduct HSE related training program, HSE policies and risk assessment, detect potential hazard and plan precautionary measures, investigating workplace incidents and preparing HSE reports as per statutory and requirement of the site.
- Participate actively in the implementation of quality assurance, energy conservation, environmental, health, safety, and sustainable development goal programs.
