The HR Manager will oversee all human resources activities within the company, ensuring that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives. This role involves developing HR strategies, managing staff recruitment and retention, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
- Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Foster a positive workplace environment through team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve employee relations.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to ensure fair and consistent employee evaluations.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance issues and employee development plans.
- Develop strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.
- Compliance and Legal:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and policies to ensure compliance.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary surveys and benchmarking to ensure the company remains competitive in the job market.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- HR Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
