Description :
As the BM Hub Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Bukit Mertajam hub, ensuring efficient and timely execution of delivery routes while maintaining cost-effective operations. You will lead a team to optimize resources, manage route planning, and ensure cost control in areas such as vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and other operational expenses.
This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a proactive attitude towards improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
Job Responsibilities (JR):
- Route Planning & Daily Operations Management:
Plan and manage the daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.Monitor and adjust routes in real-time based on traffic, weather, and other operational challenges.Ensure all deliveries are completed within the set timelines while adhering to company standards and customer satisfaction targets.
- Cost Control & Efficiency:
Oversee the hub’s operational budget, focusing on controlling costs related to vehicle maintenance, diesel consumption, and other related expenses.Implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.Track and analyze maintenance schedules to avoid costly repairs and ensure the fleet is operating at peak efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Development:
Supervise, train, and motivate the hub operations team to achieve performance goals.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Prepare and submit regular reports on operational performance, cost analysis, and route efficiency to upper management.
- Customer Service Management:
Address and resolve any customer service issues related to deliveries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Work closely with the customer service team to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.
Key Skills Required:
- Strategic Route Planning:
Proficient in using route optimization tools and GPS software to plan and manage efficient delivery routes.Ability to make quick decisions and adapt routes in response to unexpected changes or challenges.
- Cost Control & Budget Management:
Strong understanding of cost management principles, especially in relation to fleet maintenance, fuel consumption, and operational expenses.Experience in tracking and analyzing cost data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
