Introduction
As a Business Development Manager at Trip.com, you will be responsible for driving growth within the Attractions, Tours, F&B, Events vertical by identifying strategic partnerships, negotiating contracts, and expanding our portfolio of offerings. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's expansion strategy, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance our customers' travel experiences.
In this Role, you’ll get to
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve growth objectives in the Attractions, Tours, F&B, & Events vertical.
- Responsible for local activities products developing and sourcing management, supplier relationship maintenance, cooperation agreement signing and negotiation according to company strategy and policy;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and technology teams to integrate new offerings seamlessly into Trip.com's platform.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify business opportunities and market gaps.
- Build and nurture relationships with key industry players and stakeholders to drive business expansion and innovation. Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, upselling, and promotional initiatives.
What you'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism or a related field.
- Proven track record of 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales roles within the travel, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of attractions, tours, F&B, events ecosystem with established industry networks.
- Experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing partner relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
