HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR
( 1 POST)
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a minimum recognized certification HSE or other qualification will be an advantage.
- Enforce safety policies to minimize risks, outline safety procedures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with federal occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
- Basic knowledge on how to handle and prevent accidents, implement safety plans, and respond to emergencies.
- Engage with national safety authorities of Malaysia (DOSH, NIOSH, JKKP, Department of Environment (DOE) etc.)
- Previous experience is an advantage.
- Dynamic, proactive and hardworking.
- Salary Negotiable (based on working experience & qualification).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety of ships,site areas and its environment before work activities can be carried out.
- Fire prevention, firefighting operation, and pollution control work.
- Monitoring of safety systems.
- Safety enforcement.
- Enforce safety policies to minimize risks, outline safety procedures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with federal occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
- responsible of proper document management according to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.
- Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
