PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

• You are responsible for keeping a portion of line cooks or station chefs on time and organized during production. You are someone to be the kitchen’s third in command; therefore, you need to be trustworthy, experienced and management material.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Since you are responsible for all dishes prepared in his section, you must be knowledgeable about the section that you are oversees as well as how a kitchen function as a whole.
• Being organized and able to work in fast-paced, high-pressure situations is important.
• You will assist the Chef and relay his orders station cooks and ensures each menu item his station is responsible for is prepared on time.

• You may be required to assist with cooking, preparation, and plating when station chefs are absent. You also must ensure that all health and food safety standards are practiced and you need to help troubleshoot any kitchen issues that may arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

• STM/STPM (Preferred)

Experience:

License/Certification:

• Food Handling Certificate (Preferred)
• Typhoid Injection (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
