Description :

• The job of Vessel Operator usually manages the operations of vessels, instructing vessels, agents, contractors and stevedores on a daily basis.
• The Vessel Operator plans the voyage of the vessel in association with the Dredge Master.
• The Vessel Operator is usually also responsible for conduct port reviews and appoint vessel agency.
• You will be required to prepare reports on productivity and make plans to resolve any issues and improve productivity.
• The Vessel Operator participates in meetings with stevedores and agents.
• The Vessel Operator is usually responsible for Bills of Lading, manifests and provision of Letters of Indemnity.
• The Vessel Operator may also be required to assist others with enquiries, gathering any information requested.
• Proper handing over of work to the next shift by discussion between both vessel operator and the logbook shall be acknowledged by both parties.
• Ensure working tools are sufficient.
• Ensure safety working condition.
• Ensure the housekeeping is properly carried out.
• Record all activities in the logbook and daily report.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Marine: 3 years (Preferred)
