Job Summary:
Our client is a company in the mechatronics and automation industry and they are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team in Penang. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, establishing strong customer relationships, and exploring new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

· Seek and acquire new leads through various methods like cold calls, networking and referrals. Customize sales approaches by researching potential clients and their needs.

· Present, market and sell products/services to both new and existing clients.

· Develop strategies for retaining and growing existing customer relationships. Increase company revenue by upselling and cross-selling.

· Maintain a strong grasp of the company’s offerings, industry trends and competitors. Deliver excellent customer service to foster satisfaction and repeat business.

· Collaborate with different departments to meet customer expectations. Keep records of sales activities, client interactions and follow-ups using the CRM system.

· Participate in industry events to expand the company’s customer base and enhance brand visibility. Continuously, improve sales skills through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Must be proficient in spoken Mandarin, Malay, and English language for effective
  • communication with diverse clients.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Highly IT-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel within the assigned regions.

Work Arrangements

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with flexible clock-in arrangements.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the office in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
  • Ability to work remotely and attend client meetings as required.

Job Allowances & Benefits:

  • Transport Allowance: RM900 - RM1,000 (based on car type)
  • Commission & Incentives: Estimated variable income of RM500 to RM1,000 per month based
