As a Junior Engineer, you will work closely with the team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development teams to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
Something you will be working with :
- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and services (VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service, etc.).
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes using Azure Automation, PowerShell, ARM templates, pipeline or other automation tools.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the Azure environment.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for Azure resources.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new Azure services to optimize infrastructure and costs. Develop and update features in the application using .NET technologies and Azure services using C# and F# language.
- Monitor Azure resources for cost analysis and improve workflow of the application.
- Clean up Azure resources which are not required for the application.
- Define and implement the architecture for complex components with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Provide support during off-hours as needed
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and reliability.
- Document infrastructure and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in .NET framework and .NET Core.
- Experience with C# programming languages
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users in multiple languages.
- Keen interest in continual learning and professional development.
- Result-oriented, customer-focused, self-motivated, proactive and problem-solving.
- Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen.
