Role Overview: As an Assistant Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain process. You will collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement, production, and delivery of food products while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
• Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and ingredients
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management practices to minimize waste and stockouts
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery to customers
• Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Prepare reports and presentations for management review and decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools

Location: Tanjung Langsat

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is RM4500 - RM6000, based on qualifications and experience.
