Job Title
Assistant Manager, Airline Operation 2Reports To
Category Lead, Airline Operations 2Role Purpose
- Review and develop sourcing strategies for the identified work category.
- Procure goods and services in the identified work category, lead RFX exercise, develop business proposals, and negotiate contracts consistent with given business requirements.
Key Accountability
- Work with clients and business owners to influence decisions pertaining to third-party procurement activities.
- Identify and execute against agreed KPIs to leverage spend and maximize savings opportunities.
- Conduct regular user communications pertaining to procurement processes, roles and value.
- Cost Savings including cost avoidance and smart spend.
- Supplier reduction/rationalization.
- Procurement non-compliance.
- Supplier performance management.
- Procurement process turnaround time (TAT).
- Assist in the planning and execution of sourcing events, and report results to the management.
- Support implementation framework for sourcing category to ensure effective implementation and utilization of e-procurement tools.
- Identify and execute against agreed KPIs to leverage spend and maximize savings opportunities.
- Deploy and support procurement activities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and quality assurance of all governance, control and policy related materials.
- Hold regular planning, progress and ideas meetings with Senior Stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the stakeholders to achieve challenging targets.
- Manage Category Sourcing Pipelines (existing & new requirements).
Qualifications & Working Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or other relevant fields with minimum 5-6 years working experience.Areas of Experience
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills, and a team player.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Good analytical and Excel modelling skills.
- Strong Influencing Skills.
- Skilled and proficient commercial and contractual negotiator.
- Assist in the development of End-to-End Strategic Procurement systems and operations.
- Familiar with ARIBA/S4HANA.

- Good planning, organisational and project management skills.
- Analytical and detailed oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the transformation and development of Strategic Procurement.
