Description :

• Design and regularly update creative, seasonal menus aligned with the restaurant’s vision.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, flavor, and presentation across all dishes.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to pair menu items with wine and beverage offerings.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including scheduling, food prep, service, and cleanup.
• Implement and monitor systems to control costs and minimize waste (e.g., portion control, inventory management).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and manage team morale.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and positive work environment.
• Develop and manage kitchen budget in conjunction with management.
• Monitor food cost, labor cost, and overall kitchen expenditures.
• Source high-quality ingredients while maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular tastings and kitchen inspections.
• Stay informed about culinary trends and new techniques to continuously innovate.
• Ensure guests receive a top-tier culinary experience with every dish.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
