Job Summary:
The General Administrative Clerk is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves handling various office tasks, assisting with documentation, and supporting staff with administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Documentation and Filing:
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
2. Data Entry:
- Enter and update data in databases and spreadsheets.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of data before entering it into the system.
- Generate reports and summaries from data as needed.
3. Financial Support:
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports.
- Maintain records of financial transactions and prepare summaries.
4. Support to Staff:
- Provide administrative support to staff members, including copying, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
5. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all office operations comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school SPM/STPM, diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in an administrative or clerical role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of office equipment and technology.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to RM1,500.00 per month
