About the role
An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join Setia Awan Holdings Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Manager, Accounts (Property Development) based in Seri Manjung, Perak. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting and reporting support to the property development division of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Accounts Manager on daily operation matters
- Review Company’s full set accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management and financial reports
- Preparing meeting materials and participate in monthly / quarterly meeting
- Assist to prepare and monitor projects’ budget including budgetary variances
- Assist on accounting, audit and taxation matters
- Assist to maintain and monitoring chart of accounts for accounting system
- Reviewing SST reports and ensure tax code is applied correctly
- Reviewing and posting all the transactions done by immediate subordinates in the accounting system
- Ensure all the audit schedules are prepared on time
- Ensure proper Accounting and Controls are performed for processing activity by following all established policies and procedures
- Ensure all the statutory deadlines are met to avoid any penalty on late payment or submission
- To liaise with both external and internal auditor, lawyer, banker, supplier and etc
- To assist on special assignment or any ad-hoc duties
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in property development industry is an added advantage
- Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia including Mandarin are added advantage
- Well verse in Microsoft Office software eg. Excel
- Detailed with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive and able to meet tight deadline
- Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, multi-tasking, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationship both internally and externally
- Able to work independently under minimal supervision and able to meet tight deadline
