YOUR FUTURE JOB
As a Test Scheduler at Melexis, you will prepare weekly Production testing schedules for the different Production shifts. Being a real driver from a planning perspective for the overall Production performance in a timely manner. Doing so in close collaboration with the Production and Supply chain Teams. More specifically, you will- Measure and report outputs in regards to the success rate of the prepared schedules. Including proposing improvements and deploying them.
- Ensure the capacity utilisation at optimum level, aiming overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Conduct daily review with the production shifts and update accordingly the production schedule.
- Handle planning emergencies, doing the needed adjustments (e.g. by Quality crisis; Delivery issues; Line stops at customer side).
- Plan production materials.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor degree or equivalent based on experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Thorough understanding of the production floor, including product-specific workflows and requirements
- Strong self-organization skills with the ability to maintain calm and resilience under stress
- Assertive, proactive, and positive mindset for achieving optimal results
Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia
