Job Description:
Horizon Technology Solution Sdn Bhd is looking for a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a trusted System Integrator, we specialize in designing, implementing, and managing advanced network solutions for a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in network architecture, deployment, and support, with a strong focus on delivering tailored, client-specific solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and deploy network solutions, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN architectures.
• Configure and install network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Lead network infrastructure projects based on client-specific requirements.

Client Support and Maintenance:

• Provide ongoing support to maintain optimal network performance and reliability.
• Conduct regular network assessments, updates, and security configurations.
• Utilize industry-standard tools to monitor networks and address issues proactively.

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Employ advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures to safeguard client data, software, and hardware.
• Ensure adherence to relevant security standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and design custom solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (project managers, sales, technical staff) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Prepare detailed project documentation and network diagrams.

Training and Mentorship:

• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Stay informed about industry trends to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in network engineering, ideally in a System Integrator environment.
• Proficiency in network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience designing and implementing multi-vendor network environments.
• Expertise in network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, CISSP, Aruba ACP, ACSP, CASX, CAMX, ACSX) are highly preferred.
