Description :

Responsibilities :

 Import Documentation:

o Review, prepare, and ensure the accuracy of all import documentation, including bills of lading,

commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

o Verify that import documents adhere to customs regulations, including tariff codes and other

requirements.

o Implement a systematic document management system for easy retrieval and record-keeping.

 Customs Compliance:

o Stay informed about evolving customs regulations, import laws, and trade agreements.

o Collaborate with customs brokers to expedite the clearance of goods through customs.

o Address and resolve customs-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.

 Communication and Coordination:

o Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, clients, and all relevant stakeholders

involved in the import process.

o Communicate with shipping lines, carriers, and customs authorities to monitor the progress of

shipments and resolve any issues.

o Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their imports.

 Logistics Management:

o Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of imported goods to their final destinations.

o Optimize logistical operations to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and minimize delivery times.

o Collaborate closely with transportation providers and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery

of goods.

 Regulatory Compliance:

o Ensure that all imported goods meet the necessary regulatory requirements and quality standards.

o Work closely with regulatory agencies to obtain permits, licenses, and clearances as required.

o Continuously monitor and address changes in import regulations and trade restrictions.

Job Specifications :

Education : Minimum SPM or higher.

Experience : Preferably with a minimum of 1 year experience in Import & familiarity with all relevant Import and/or logistics operations

Special Skills/ Training :

Windows Office Application (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)

Custom Manifest system - E-Manifest / Cargo Unify / Dagangnet

Able to work independently & manage all related import departments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
