Description :
Production Management
- Analyze production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example changes to procedures, SOP, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance and minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
- Liaise with Plant managers to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
- Engage with QA team on the evaluation and continuous improvement of in-process and finished product analytical instrumentation. Work with manufacturing team to develop SOPs.
- Ensure critical processes and control points are properly controlled to for consistent performance.
- Work with maintenance team to ensure critical processes, control points, and measurements are properly maintained for consistent performance.
- Identify potential risks and offers cost-effective solutions to diminish or remove safety hazards.
- Support the development of plant level Process Safety Management Systems, Process Safety Policies and Procedures.

Process Engineering Management
- Engage with RAP / GOP team on new product development, experimental equipment, new design, and plant trials.
- Work closely with project team on final process and commercialization.
- Responsible follow up and establish new standard for process stabilizing and optimization and equipment in manufacturing environment.
- Define manufacturing processes and procedures for a specific area in line with safety, EHS standards and efficiency/ productivity requirements. Identify and address opportunities for yield improvement, waste reduction, throughput enhancement, and improved process control and consistency.
- Establish manufacturing and quality control standards and develop budget controls and plans.
- To identify processes and equipment bottlenecks with Production team in conducting equipment audits, sampling of key material streams in the circuit, measurement of air flows, performing necessary tests on samples, calculations and when required, final report generation with recommendations to improve operations.
- Conduct process studies that specifically assess and analyze current process states and perform gap analyses of differences between current and targeted states.
- Documenting and recommend cost effective solution. Undertake special projects and task as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- University Degree in Engineering / Chemical Engineer / Science / Operations Management or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations management or at least 5 years working experience in the Process Industry.
- Good interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, social competence and a strong team player. Highly motivated and results orientated.
- Ability to find solutions and proactively solve problems.
- Ability to manage projects and drive to completion.
- Expertise in world class manufacturing concepts (LEAN).
- Familiar/knowledge in 5's and Kaizen would be an added advantage.
- Possess leadership skills to lead the team in meeting departmental objectives.
- Excellent command of both oral and written English & Malay are required.
- Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial. Mature, independent, and reliable, with eyes for details and accuracy.
- Sensitive to dynamic change in day-to-day operation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
